Dispute Resolution Commission

The Dispute Resolution Commission is an independent body established under the National Bank of Georgia and reviews disputes related to rights and obligations arising from: (a) the Organic Law of Georgia on the National Bank of Georgia; (b) the Law of Georgia on Payment Systems and Payment Services; and (c) subordinate normative acts adopted on the basis thereof.

If, within the time limit established by law, the Micro Bank fails to respond to, rejects, or partially upholds a customer’s complaint submitted to the bank in connection with a payment transaction, the customer has the right to submit a complaint to the Dispute Resolution Commission established under the National Bank of Georgia.

The customer must apply to the Commission no later than 6 months from the date on which the complaint was submitted to the Micro Bank. The Commission reviews disputes free of charge.
