Award for Supporting Women's Economic Empowerment

On December 5, at the annual Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) conference, UN Women presented Microbank MBC with a special award. The company earned this recognition for its long-term and consistent support for women's economic empowerment.

MBC has been an active signatory of the WEPs since 2018. Over the years, the company has continuously implemented initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality both within the organization and in broader society.

This year's conference was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the WEPs. Over the past decade, the WEPs has evolved into a crucial global platform, providing the private sector with the opportunity to effectively engage in the advancement of gender equality and women's economic empowerment.
