Youth Empowerment

Creating opportunities for young people to grow is one of the areas of corporate responsibility that Microbank MBC is particularly proud of. We support initiatives that help young people gain knowledge, develop skills and turn their ideas into practice.
We support educational initiatives designed for young people and create development opportunities of our own.
One of our key areas of work with young people is financial education. In cooperation with the National Bank of Georgia and Finedu, the financial education portal, we participate in initiatives that help children and young people better understand financial matters.
Supporting young people goes beyond sharing knowledge. It is equally important to give them opportunities to develop and present their own ideas. In this area, MBC supports various youth competitions and initiatives.
Creating opportunities for young people to gain their first professional experience is another important part of our work. The MBC internship program offers young people paid, practical experience at the microbank’s head office and service centers in Tbilisi and different regions of Georgia. The program is not limited to providing a first work experience: after completing the internship, participants have the opportunity to continue their careers at MBC. We also create opportunities for school students to gain their first exposure to a professional environment.
Our goal is for every opportunity created for young people to become more than a one-time experience. We want knowledge to inspire new ideas, ideas to create opportunities for action and the experience gained to help young people rethink and shape their own path.
