Promoting Financial Education
We believe that informed financial decisions build the foundation for a better future.

Promoting financial literacy is a particular responsibility for the Microbank. As a representative of the financial sector, we are committed to raising awareness of financial matters among both our customers and the wider public. We believe that financial knowledge helps people make informed decisions, plan their finances more effectively, and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
We place particular emphasis on the financial education of young people. We implement initiatives for school students and university students, helping them develop responsible financial habits from an early age, better understand the importance of financial decisions, and gain practical knowledge they can apply in their everyday lives.
Cooperation with the National Bank of Georgia and its financial education platform, FinEdu, plays an important role in our financial education efforts. Through this partnership, the Microbank participates in various financial education initiatives and contributes to increasing financial knowledge and awareness among young people and the wider public.
Our efforts in this area have also received international recognition. MBC is a winner of the UN Global Compact Corporate Sustainability Award competition. The Microbank’s project, “Promoting Financial Education Among Young People,” won in the SME category under SDG 4, “Quality Education,” in 2023.
